Join London's alternative male chorus this December as they return to Stoke Newington's Old Church, to bring you an evening of seasonal cheer and merriment.
We are extremely lucky to have the incredible Daisy Chute joining us, who will open the evening up with a solo set.
Chaps Choir
Chaps Choir is a large male singing gang from London; say goodbye to the male voice choir most would recognise. The group has been sharing its joy-inducing, heart-string pulling repertoire to audiences since 2013. Prepare for pop re-hashes, snowy hunting calls, self-aware pirates and, well, lots of men singing …
Their voices have filled the Royal Festival Hall, The Union Chapel & other major London venues. Featured at Wilderness & Port Eliot festivals the choir has slowly built a name around the country for its urbane entertaining presentation and unexpected repertoire choices. They’ve performed live on prime time TV, recorded at Abbey Road and been the subject of articles & news pieces exploring men’s singing & male community.
Daisy Chute
Daisy Chute is an American-Scottish folk singer and songwriter. A banjo-wielding multi-instrumentalist, her musical roots are born out of her transatlantic heritage and she writes award-winning intelligent songs with stories, performing them with spine-tingling vocals & intricate instrumentation.

This June London's alternative male voice choir invites you to celebrate their 10th birthday.
***VENUE CHANGE***
Regretfully we have had to take the decision to change venue for our concert on the 17th June. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by this change. We will no longer be at the Round Chapel in Hackney, however we are delighted and very much looking forward to taking our songs and singing into the beautiful grade II listed Saint James Church in Clerkenwell. (please get in touch about access requirements, as they are limited). All tickets are automatically transferred to the event at the new venue. If you purchased your ticket prior to May 9th, you are eligible for a refund if the change in venue does not work for you.
Since they began, Chaps Choir have been delighting audiences with their heart-string-pulling, joy-inducing singing and songs. For this decade celebration they'll be sharing new material and bringing you some of your favourite Chap covers.
Over the last 10 years the choir has built a name through their urbane, entertaining shows and unexpected repertoire choices. As well as filling many of London's grandest venues with their voices, they’ve performed live on national TV, collaborated with chart-topping artists, recorded at Abbey Road and been the subject of articles, news items & book chapters exploring men’s singing & male community. Their video projects & recordings have attracted a global audience, moved & inspired by this alternative presentation of singing men.
Dom Stichbury, founder & leader of the choir says, 'Back in 2013 I was caught by the strongest itch I've ever had..to start a choir for men that would turn into the brace-clad singing group known as Chaps Choir. I can hardly believe the journey it has taken us all on and the positive & vibrant men's community that has resulted. We can't wait to mark this occasion with our friends & followers.'
