Chaps Choir + Genevieve Dawson @ The Old Church

TICKETS

Chaps Choir return to one of their favourite venues, Stoke Newington's Old Church, for their first acoustic show since 2019. The evening will feature this alternative male singing troupe singing some of their old classics plus a set of brand new arrangements and re-inventions.

The choir is thrilled to confirm that musician, songwriter & composer Genevieve Dawson will be singing a set. Her debut album, Letters I Won’t Send, self produced and recorded in a church, was released in 2020 and was featured on Tom Robinson’s Mixtape, BBC Radio London, Jazz FM, Gideon Coe and Guy Garvey’s BBC 6 Music shows. Genevieve is a climate justice campaigner, founder of Hertha Records/Shut Up and Play festival, and runs a queer choir in Peckham in South London. She’s currently working on new music, due for release in 2022.
